Core features
- High corrosion resistance: The zinc-aluminum alloy coating makes it more corrosion-resistant than ordinary galvanized steel and has stronger resistance to salt spray and atmospheric corrosion.
- Long service life: The service life is up to 25 years or more, even in humid, salt spray, and other environments.
- Good adhesion: The coating is firmly bonded to the substrate and is not easy to fall off or crack during processing.
- Good heat resistance: It can withstand high temperature environments of 315℃ and will not change color or deteriorate in performance like ordinary galvanized sheets.
- Beautiful surface: The surface has a silver-white metallic luster and star-shaped patterns, and the coating is flat and dense, which can be used directly or further coated.

- Large industrial plants: S350GD+AZ150/ SS Grade 40 AZ150, which can resist wind pressure and can be used in large-span roofs or typhoon-prone areas.
Structural Engineering
- Steel structure sandwich panel: S550GD+AZ150/ HSLAS Grade 50 AZ150, as a load-bearing panel, has ultra-high strength and can withstand the overall load after compounding.

- Corrosion resistance: Galvalume AZ150 is superior to Z275 galvanizing, especially resistant to industrial atmospheres.
- Heat resistance: Z275 can only withstand about 200°C, while Galvalume AZ150 can withstand 315°C continuously and 600°C for a short period of time.

- Conductivity: Aluminum-zinc alloys conduct electricity more evenly and are better than pure zinc coatings.
- Cut edge protection: Z275 provides pure zinc protection, but the repair speed is not as fast as AZ150.
- Cost: Galvalume solution is the initial cost, and the initial cost of ordinary galvanizing solution is 15-20% lower.
- Maintenance cost: After 10 years, Galvalume is maintenance-free, and Z275 may need 2 coatings. Galvalume saves 40% in total cost over 30 years.
The whole process of production
- Substrate treatment: cold rolled steel coil such as DX51D → alkali washing + pickling → annealing (700-850℃).
- Hot dip plating: immerse in 580-620℃ aluminum-zinc molten pool → air knife controls the coating.
- Cooling and solidification: air cooling/water quenching to below 40℃, the coating forms an aluminum-rich corrosion-resistant layer + a zinc-rich sacrificial layer.
- Post-treatment: passivation (chrome-free/chromized) + oiling/anti-fingerprint coating → slitting and packaging.
- Quality inspection: coating thickness, plate thickness after rolling, surface flatness, bending test, stamping test, salt spray test, etc.
